Sydney Dental Conference Weekender

4 10 2010

After finishing up my midterm exams last week, I flew down to Sydney to meet up with Tim Silegy at a dental implant convention. I was able to help Tim out with the hands-on portions of his lectures in which we showed general dentists methods for loading particular implants. If I didn’t have a big field trip coming up, I would of had the opportunity to see a cadaver course in Melbourne! After finishing up the first day of work, we hopped on a ferry and headed to a cocktail party in front of the Sydney Opera House.

The rising moon was huge and red due to the westerly winds blowing dust from the outback

On my free morning, I got to go surfing at one of the northern beaches with Hamish, a friend of Alissa and Eva’s. It was a little chilly, but it was nice to get in the water.

Was so great to have met up with you in Sydney. I heard about your trip back to Brisbane. What an adventure. Thanks for all of your help with the course. Enjoy the rest of your time down under!
